1. Make Your Own Slime 🧫
Create gooey, stretchy slime and experiment with colors and textures!
  1. Pour white glue into a bowl.
  2. Add a spoonful of baking soda and mix.
  3. Add food coloring for fun colors.
  4. Slowly add contact lens solution while stirring until slime forms.
  5. Knead and play!

2. Soda & Mentos Geyser 🥤💥
Watch a fizzy eruption by dropping Mentos into soda!
  1. Go outside and place a bottle of soda on the ground.
  2. Quickly drop several Mentos into the bottle.
  3. Step back and watch the geyser!
You'll need: 2-liter bottle of soda, Mentos candies.
3. Rainbow Walking Water 🌈💧
See water "walk" between cups and mix colors in a magical way!
  1. Arrange clear cups in a row, filling every other cup with water.
  2. Add food coloring to the water cups.
  3. Fold paper towels into strips and place between cups.
  4. Watch as colored water travels and mixes!
You'll need: Clear cups, water, food coloring, paper towels.
4. Invisible Ink Messages ✉️🕵️
Write secret notes using lemon juice and reveal them with heat!
  1. Dip a cotton swab in lemon juice and write on white paper.
  2. Let it dry.
  3. Hold the paper near a light bulb (with adult help) to reveal the message.
You'll need: Lemon juice, cotton swabs, white paper, lamp or iron (adult help).
5. Balloon Rocket 🎈🚀
Race balloons along a string track using air power!
  1. Thread a long piece of string through a straw and tie ends to two chairs.
  2. Blow up a balloon (don’t tie it), tape it to the straw.
  3. Let go and watch it zoom!
You'll need: Balloon, string, straw, tape, two chairs.
6. Static Butterflies 🦋⚡
Make tissue paper butterflies dance with static electricity!
  1. Cut a butterfly shape from tissue paper.
  2. Rub a balloon on your hair or a wool sweater.
  3. Hold the balloon near the butterfly and watch it move!
You'll need: Tissue paper, balloon, wool sweater.
7. Homemade Lava Lamp 🧪🌈
Make a bubbly lava lamp with kitchen ingredients!
  1. Fill a clear bottle most of the way with vegetable oil.
  2. Add water and food coloring.
  3. Drop in an Alka-Seltzer tablet and watch the bubbles!
You'll need: Clear bottle, vegetable oil, water, food coloring, Alka-Seltzer.
8. Milk Rainbow Art 🥛🎨
Create swirling rainbow patterns in milk using soap!
  1. Pour milk into a shallow dish.
  2. Add drops of food coloring.
  3. Touch the colors with a soapy cotton swab and watch them swirl!

9. Sink or Float? 🛁🔬
Test which objects will sink or float in water.
  1. Fill a large bowl or tub with water.
  2. Gather small objects from around the house.
  3. Predict and test if each object sinks or floats.
You'll need: Large bowl, water, small objects, paper and pencil.
10. Homemade Compass 🧭
Find north with a simple homemade compass!
  1. Magnetize a needle by rubbing it on a magnet.
  2. Push the needle through a small piece of cork.
  3. Float the cork and needle in a bowl of water—the needle will point north!
You'll need: Needle, magnet, cork, bowl, water.
