Grandma Kay (who's 86) lives with Toni and Ken in Sweetieport, navigating the journey of Alzheimer's with her own special brand of grace. While the illness brings challenges, it also sometimes reveals flashes of affection that are incredibly precious. Her days have their own rhythm, often centered around routines and her deep, unwavering bond with her beloved dog, Kola. He's her furry shadow, sometimes her "sweetie," sometimes the recipient of a gentle scolding – a constant in her world. Their connection is so special, we just had to create "Kola's Korner" on the site, a little spot dedicated to him, showing how her love shapes even the layout of this blueprint.
Our Quirky Calculus: The (Not-So-Scientific) Formula for Family
How do we try to make sense of the beautiful chaos that is family? With our very own "Quirky Calculus."
